The Little Mermaid repped with Julius Caesar, ran all summer, and the changeover involved adding the sea grass, jelly fish, and swings.
The jelly fish, hung here in storage, were made of large umbrellas, an 18" acrylic globe inside that lit up, & tentacles of ribbon/tulle.
Shown here is the acrylic globe, the jelly fish are hung by this globe and it lights up.
The anchor was made of layers of foam and MDF. It was sittable and stand-able and was light enough to move around during the show.

The swings were a wooden plank rigged w/ hemp rope & had to hold the weight of the Mermaids. They flew out when not needed.
